Study on Paraplegia and Workstation Design
Attention People with Paraplegia in the Atlanta Area!
CATEA and the WorkRERC are currently seeking study participants who are paraplegic with full hand function to provide input on the design of a CNC (computer numerically controlled) workstation. Participants will test a non-operational model of a CNC machine and also provide input on new design ideas. Requirements
We plan to recruit up to 10 volunteers who:
- Are between the ages of 18 and 65
- Are paraplegics at level of T10 or below
- Have incomplete spinal cord injuries with full hand function
- Have good trunk stability with ability to lean forward and side-to-side without loss of balance
